Hey xterm where do you live? If you're close to Hamra, you can pass by and I can lend you a GeForce 6200 TurboCache for the time being. In the 2 weeks, enjoy overclocking the CPU, RAM, etc... then when you get the GFX unleash its power :) Also, don't forget to start downloading the Drivers! It really pinches when you have to wait a whole day for something to be functional / performing as expected.

By the way, what board are you getting? I REALLY recommend you don't get the Intel one.

Yasamoka, it's too late :-( I already ordered the parts and yes its the intel one.

Thanks for the gfx, but it's ok, the 430 should do fine for the first two weeks.

You're right, I should start downloading the latest drivers.

Go fix your drivers first, then we will consider getting AMD cards

oh come on man , you dont know something else ?

drivers are becoming very good day after day , and i am not experiencing any issues with them

also EYEFINETY is the future of gaming believe me

and when i know that NVIDIA 2D SURROUND ( like eyefinety ) needs your card to be paired in SLI with another because one nvida card connot handle more than 2 displayes , I would say WAY TO GO AMD , one card supporting 3 displays without any decrease in performance

more than that the 3D surround is a joke to spend 1500 $ + , inorder to enable it and finally you get a very bad performance if the card are not high end card ( in 2-way to 3-way sli )

not to mention the bad 400 series which increased the tempreture of the planet earth , helping global warming
and the succesive AMD 5000 series with its cheap prices and wonderfull power , and the  hd 5970

also the bad GTX 590

correct me if I AM WRONG !

It is almost the same as 2560 x 1600...isnt your VGA struggling at such a resolution? What graphics options do you usually pick in demanding games?

i use max setting , example crysis 2 : HARDCORE
i get about 30-25 fps
on one i was getting 50-60

of course getting a card like 6970 will be great for more power

my hd 6850 toxic is mid range
