@Sami27; They didn't upgrade the speed for all users, all users are on 1mb/s internet speed now.

Guys, any terranet users having problems with the new speed?
At night, it's going down to less than 200Kbps though when i test in the morning i get up to 1.8Mbps. (I'm on the 2Mbps plan)

Just connected to terranet 2 days ago: speedtest last night: 0.11

2mb plan, my old local cable was better.

A friend of mine works at Solidere's ISP (communication engineer), and he told me that none of the ISP's is delivering the bandwidth coming from IMEWE (Ogero hasn't given them, yet). They are using satellites now, and that's why the ping is high. That's what he told me!

Hi i live in Zahle specifically in Ka3 El Rim (Outskirts) I'm with Terranet 256k, my quota was increased to 10G or so whatever... but the situation is like this: Because I live too far away from Ogero's stupid hub i am doomed to live with only 256k max. because DSL depends on distance which means the further you'll go the slower the connection will get. And unless they upgrade their equipment to fiber optics (which i doubt they'll ever do b4 we die) we're in a VERY awkward situation. So as far as Terranet is concerned they've given me 1Mbps but i can't receive over 256k and it won't make a difference if i switch to IDM/Cyberia or OGERO (God forbid!). PEACE!

BTW: I believe this country is giant piece of S**T!

yep. haven't seen 200KB\s in a while.
Yest i had 140KB\s in the afternoon.

Now i have 30-64KB\s, and its after 8 too i used to get more before (i'd have 80KB\s around this time)...

sigh....
