ok, so far which ISP's upgraded there quotas? I'm with wise and nothing changed so far...!

Here's the official word from Wise, as expected nothing worth celebrating for

"Dear valuable customer, as part of our commitment to provide you with the best internet connection at competitive prices, we are glad to inform you that starting November 1st, the price of the 512 kbps / 3GB wireless plan will become $27 instead of $45. Also a new 1Mb/6GB plan will be introduced on December 1st 2011."

thats for the wireless plan, they're saying that the 256 will become 512 on november 1 nad then it will become 1 mb starting december...

Ogero Subscriber so far no speed upgrade and no Quota update but ping speed seems to have improved.

Personally I think the upgrade is overdue but I think that as far as prices go the quotas along with the new speeds will not result in lower monthly bills people will end up downloading more than their quota and the overages will bring their bills up to previous monthly totals or more.  I think without a true free market economy prices will always be higher than other countries the ISPs here will all price their packages close to each other +/- 10%  after all they all are more interested in their profit margin above all else.  Introduce a not for profit ISP and see how many of them last ;-P

Also you have to keep in mind that I've been using 'internet' since 9600bps if i remember it's around 1994 and I've waited for 17 years for a day where i could be happy with my connection, so forgive me if i'm irritated by someone giving me false dates.

i was there a year or two after with my 486DX2-66 and cyberia dial up connection on the most reliable US-Robotics

at that timne i had heard the ACK signal of my modem so much i could replicate it perfectly

awesome trip down memory lane :)

"4 times faster" should be a phrase used in substitute for "Bullshit"

on a more related note, still no sign of action from Ogero - from what i can tell from my side at least.

There is something wrong seriously my connection was perfect before october 80ms and stable ~512kbps, im speechless with this upgrade!

It seems everyone's latency has increased today.

Mine has increased by around 130 ms on all servers

After running your speed test at speetest.net, it will give you an option to share your result, you can copy and paste the link provided , ie: www.speedtest.net/201394910.ping

This is one of the best speeds I've had with IDM. I orginally had a 1 mbps connection and i used to get 0.72 mbps before saturday... connection is somewhat better.. still waiting on the real speed increase though...
