Whatsapp on WAP?

I just wanted to ask if it's just me or What'sapp doesn't work on the normal 3$ per month alfa WAP.

Depends what cellphone you are using.
If iPhone then no, you have to do the GPRS service.

iPhone it needs GPRS. BlackBerry needs BIS, I tried it on WAP and GPRS no go.

I have a BB and it seems whatspp only works on wifi
Plus whatsapp is just a trial so sooner or later you'll have to start paying
Though there's another app its called Cnectd that works on the same principle but in addition you can use it on whichever connection settings suits you best (wether BIS, BES, TCP/IP , wifi , but I'm still not sure about wap)
And the good thing is that it's totally free

What's app does work on Blackberry, you've got to have the service.
As for the trial, you uninstall the application then install it again.

I never said it didn't work .. It does work on my BB eventhough I don't have BIS .. It works on my wifi
And are you sure about the install and uninstall thing? It actually works? I usually end up paying .. Bas my trial isn't over yet

It didn't add a year for free, it takes money from your line's credit.

How can it take money from my line's credit since for starters i'm using a prepaid card?
Even on normal lines it works the same. It's just the fact that with the new update the trial version got extended to a year.
It still is a trial version if you check it in the settings.
