Ma3bar and Google, CS for Highschool

Got this email from Walid Karam, the coordinator at Ma3bar:

This event is funded by the generous CS4HS gift from Google. It provides an opportunity for both high-school students and computing teachers to delve into a real and exciting technology and computer-science experience. It offers high-school teachers a better understanding of the computing field at the university, and encourages students to consider a career in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems.

The competition was very nice it's the first time i hear of a competition for High School students. The presentations on the first two days were interesting specially the game programming one. One of the jury said that some groups that presented were better than CS university students.
