Nope. The ministry is in preparation (will take 2 months according to Nahhas) to talk to RIM. My guess is that it'll take forever.
As for Alfa's BB service, I think they were overwhelmed with the subscription rate from the prepaid lines. Actually, the same exact thing happened when a couple of years ago MTC rolled out their mobile internet services to prepaid only for them to shut down it a couple of months later. I just sometimes wonder, don't these companies do any kind of customer survey to gauge the uptake and response to such services? Especially in a country where we're internet connection deprived, such services must be carefully studied before roll out.
