One of the campaigns that the Tigerhearts annually hold, consists of donating computer systems to children who learn to use computers at schools but cannot afford to buy a set themselves. This usually happens a couple of months before school entries.
I have always encouraged the Tigerhearts' effort to help out underprivileged kids getting access to computers even though I haven't contributed directly (I don't have hardware lying around). But I can and will ask other people to contribute.
Now, we haven't been posting anything recently because, with all due respect, people are using the forum to mock the beliefs of others, or brag about their own possessions and achievements... GROW UP, for goodness' sake.
A few rogue topics popped up, they were dealt with and in today's meeting (that you missed) we all physically signed on a forum etiquette we pledged to respect (I will be implementing it soon).
We know that we could be banned, seeing that no one likes criticism and seeing that we got opposed for simpler stuff before, but hey, life is life.
That's just a groundless accusation. Implying you would be banned for criticizing the forum is just ridiculous. Do keep in mind that doing it privately and directly to an administrator would be a more elegant approach.
Here's an excerpt of something you posted on the 4th of October 2009:
We apologize for bringing the burden over here, but we have a community over here (lebgeeks) that is pure. No racism, no biased attitude, no politics. It's because it's so friendly that we even had the guts to post this.
It's too bad your perception has changed over a few issues we have had. Instead of sticking with the community through its rough patches and our constant effort to stay united, you choose to publicly accuse us of being childish and stubborn (I'm not denying some members can behave in a childish manner, it doesn't mean a generalization is justified).
