I love the screen ! wear a welding mask when gaming :P high pixel count might blind you :P

I am not sure about the PSU and if it's a quality one. I never heard of Enlight.
In addition, do you think the GTX 260 is going to be enough for you to game with a 32 inch LCD? Have you tried it yet?
Other than that everything looks solid.
Good luck!
ali_m3
well enlight is not as good as thermaltake but is powerfull enough to run the system....experienced no problems (yet)..and its not that cheap...costs around $170
have i tried the 32"? not yet, i am now usin my viesonic 22"...but tomorrow switchin to 32"....
Xsever
I do not know which games you play but I do not think the 260GTX will suffice you at 32 inch.
Report back with results when you have them.

Xserver is officialy scaring me! :)
Anyway, no i havent tried it yet at 32" (1920x1200)....but i have collected some data for certain games :
FarCry 2
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/budget-radeon-geforce,2364-10.html
At 1920x1200 4AA Very High, the 260 is producing some 42fps.....which is awesome
Modern Warfare 2
http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,699312/Modern-Warfare-2-Graphics-card-benchmarks-of-the-latest-Call-of-Duty/Practice/
At 1920x1200 maxed 4XMSAA, the 260 is averaging some 67fps, also great (OK the system used there is way ahead of mine, still the gtx260 is in the top 5)
Resident Evil 5
http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,690413/Resident-Evil-5-Graphics-cards-benchmarks/Practice/
At 1920x1200, maxed DX10 4xMSAA, the 260 is averaging 66 fps (again the system used there is hyper, but..?)
Today afternoon will test it myself, still wondering though, if the overclocked BFG 8800GTX which i have on my other rig will outperform the 260???
J4D
don't worry , the screen size does not matter :) what works on a 15 works on a 50 . whats coming out if the computer is a pure signal which the screen converts into the image or scientifically "multicolored lights" .
ali_m3
well jad yes true, but i am worried that the 260 wont be capable of handling res up to 1920*1200 with aa turned on and quality maxed....
if it doesnt work, i will have a serious problem becoz i cant go SLI coz the motherboard is micro....!!

@ Jad
You are wrong my friend about this. As your resolution goes higher, you card has to "work harder" and more memory is required to fill the pixels of the screen. If the screen was smaller, less computation and memory are needed in order to fill it. This is put into very simple terms.
@ Ali
My concern is that you may not be able to run everything maxed out. Also make sure your card is well cooled so that temperature does not slow it down. You should be fine using normal settings but nothing ultra.
Update: I have collected some numbers for you just to show you what I am talking about.
Crysis 4xAA 1920x1200 17.6FPS (which is not playable)
Stalker-Clear Sky: No AA 16xAF 1920x1200 23.5 FPS (which is not really playable)
As you can notice, these games have very intensive and demanding graphics. Lowering some settings should allow you to play them, but not maxed out. As for other games, make sure you have the latest drivers and you should be fine.

exacly , its the resolution that matters not the screen size :) look again at what i wrote :D i only addressed ali's fear of screen size , and btw im gonna throw you off the 747 in a minute :P
GN90
you should have got a motherboard with SLI capabilities or you will have to turn down the resolution with the big games like crysis and mafia 2 (in may) , far cry 2 .
i like to see how this pc handles them.
if you want to go faster, just get some costume cooling and overclock your part, but i dk if your motherboard can handle them , i know asus are the best when it come to overclocking.
surfer12
As far as I know Intel mobos do not have overclocking features.
rolf
Storage is on the weak side. Why not get bigger, or buy 2 or 3 for raid. SSDs are good too.
GN90
SSDs are still expensive
J4D
not fully tested as well , some reports say they have not too many read write cycles.....
rolf
OK, forget SSDs, but 250 is the lowest you can get. If you dont want extra space, you might still want to get 2 or 3 of these to create a raid array for better speed.
Or if you dont like raid or dont want to pay the price, you may still want to get a disk with bigger cache. It looks to me like you neglected storage.
I also hope you have an external device for backing up and transporting data, as you did not include a dvd writer. External hard drives and USB flash disks are more convenient then DVDs, but a writer can be useful if you want to burn your movie to be played on a dvd/tv system, or a CD for the car.
As for the rest, I am not very much up to date, but it looks good to me. I'm not sure, but I think the graphics are good and this may be a good gaming system.
Joe
I always felt like DVDs are the safest way to backup your data. I've had bad experiences with hard drives and flash disks in the past. Then again you could always get online storage. USB DVD writers are pretty cheap too (I got mine for 20 euros).
Padre
What I have is 6 drives
4x500gb on raid 0 on my first sas port
2x500gb on raid 10 on my second port for backups and the lot
Beleive me, ahuge performance boost on loading and the rest:D
J4D
@Xsever : today i hooked up my laptop with not very gr8 graphics to the 32 inch LCD and played FSX with no decrease in performance :) im gonna do that maybe 2moro on the 42 incher ( it would make a gr8 flying experience :D )
ali_m3
Ok have some results....
PES2010 runs very smoooooth
Saboteur @ 1920*1080 at maxed graphics runs an average of 58fps.....incredible...
havent tried the other games yet....but will update....
Xserver you cant use Crysis as a benchmar.0k..it eats out the PC...even the best run it slow....
Till now, PC runs cool, no loud fan noises....
Windows7 seems greate too...liked the Media Center....
