u should return it because it is the older edition direct cuii is quite better. I have the gtx 580 direct cu ii it overclocks like hell reached 920 core clock, bf3 runs so smooth at ultra.

this was solved by purchasing an aftermarket cooler, tho i still don't know what caused the sudden temp rise
