I am looking for a second screen for my laptop to amend my development space.
The monitor should be 19" inches wide at least [not wide-screen].
I'm especially interested in places where you got the screens, possible comparisons with other screens you've had or maybe seen at work, and the available prices.
Kinda urgent for me, so all help is highly appreciated.

I recommend Benq 22". I have the T2200HD, but I saw the G2220 (HD?) and its even better. Its 1920x1080, quite bright, clean, classy design, widescreen, and affordable.
Ah, just read, not wide screen? Why.. I think wide screen is great, gives you horizonal space to spare. I feel much better on the 22inch widescreen because i can keep windows unmaximized, yet uncluttered, and its easy to jump from one to the other by just shuffling them around. No need to minimize/maximize and all that, and I can still see my desktop icons too, since the screen is so wide.
Anyway, I'm not gonna tell you what to buy, you know better. I just like widescreen myself.

@rolf: sounds like the Benq screen is actually a good pick after I reviewed the internet. And yeah, I didn't want a widescreen for a 19" screen, but for 22" there's more than enough space for anything.. and then video will look awesome.
@Aj_Blaz: I didn't like the website too much on a first run. I'll search for the monitor there again and compare with pcandparts.com to see.
Thanks so far guys, been lots of help..
More suggestions definitely welcome.

I got myself the G2220HD. It's 1920x1024 of pleasure. The pixel density is higher than usual. So it'll even punch in some more workspace into this monstrous screen.
rolf's recommendation was spot on. It was well worth the budget price
[edit]I got it for $168[/edit]
PS: the screen is excellent for a budget user; I wouldn't recommend it though to a person working with imaging professionals and designers.. It has some pixel speckle when the screen is all white.. Has to do with glossy matte screen finish. I don't mind it though.
